Game Fixes

• Visit this link and go through the steps on how to fix errors when installing or updating a game:

• Verify Local Files takes a while, but has helped me so many times in the past.
• Uninstalling and reinstalling ARK has always resolved my ARK problems as a last resort.
• For lag or game crashes due to low memory or poor ping, try these ARK Startup options:
  -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 -nomansky -lowmemory -novsync

How to Fix Your Mods

• If you're having MOD issues (such as a mod mismatch if our mods are confirmed to be updated): Go to the Mod List and find the ID of the mod that is causing problems.
• Unsubscribe from the mod. Log out of Steam.
• Below are the 2 locations of your mods folders:
  C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods
  C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\346110
• Go to the above two folders and search for that ID. Remove the file and the directories from both locations.
• Resubscribe to the Mod. Log into Steam.
• Start ARK within Steam without going to an actual server. At the bottom you should see "Loading file...."
• If that doesn't resolve the issue, make sure you Verify Local Files as per previous panel.
• If that doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to uninstall and reinstall ARK.

How to use the Obelisk

• To take your dino with you, take everything off your dino. Saddle, food, items: remove them or you will lose them.
• Select the Obelisk. Then select the CREATURES tab on the right. There is a list of your dinos. Select one, and then press the 'UPLOAD CREATURE" button.
• You will be warned that your animal will be destroyed. No it won't. It will be uploaded. But its inventory will be lost. See Step 1. On Arkiteks, you have 24 hours to park your dino on the obelisk. After that, it will be destroyed.
• Now select the "TRAVEL TO ANOTHER SERVER" button. Select the map you wish to move to. Once on the new map, you will need to create your tribe and invite your tribe mates again. Select the ARK DATA tab and drag your items there to save them if you wish. DO NOT USE THE SELECT ALL BUTTONS in your inventory. They won't be moved to the Ark Data tab, they will be moved to the Tribute tab instead. The Tribute tab is for boss fights. Find an obelisk or tek transmitter on the new map, select it, go to the CREATURES tab, it will show dinos you can download. Select them at the bottom, and select DOWNLOAD CREATURE. Put your saddle and food back on your dino.
